Star Wars Phantom Menace Review

This review of Star Wars: A Phantom Menace is better than the movie. Watch the first part and you will be hooked for the whole thing. It has better storytelling and is more creative than the original movie. It is also an excellent lesson in movie making.

Congratulations that was 70 minutes of awesome.

Tani and Elvis at Jeremy’s Wedding

Getting dressed up for a wedding is always excellent. I got some new suspenders and a skull tie to wrap it all up.

Ashley Raines at Ida Red

H4n with RedHead Windscreen

Ashley Raines did a show on Thursday at Ida Red. This was the second show that I recorded with my new Zoom H4n. I recorded the vocals on one track and the mic’d instruments on another and then also recorded the room with the built in mics of the H4n. It is so much easier than trying to do the room sound from the camera and then trying to sync it all up afterwards.

If you want to see all these videos you should subscribe to the Ida Red podcast but you could also check out the Ida Red YouTube channel.

On the right is a picture of my H4n with it’s red wig. It works very well in keeping the wind noise to a minimum. It is nice to have a huge amount of video and audio gear that is all black and grey and have this bright red mop pop out.

Helmet Camera Test

I just got home and received a helmet camera for Biker Fox. I unboxed it on the porch and did a quick inventory. It is really nice and has an on button and then a big switch for recording. I took it for a little spin around the field to see how it looks.

It is the CoutourHD and it just came out. I was lucky I started looking right when this camera came around because the next closest camera is horrible.
